Amloz 2.5 Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (heart-related chest pain). It helps to lower high blood pressure, thus reducing the chances of future heart attack and stroke. This medicine should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. It should be taken regularly at a fixed time every day. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly. You may experience mild dizziness initially while taking this medicine, which improves with time. Swelling of the ankle may occur in some patients as a side effect.

How to use Amloz Tablet

Amloz 2.5 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Amloz 2.5 Tablet is recommended.
Liver

Amloz 2.5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amloz 2.5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Amloz 2.5 Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
What if you miss a dose of Amloz Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Amloz 2.5 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
