How to use Amoxil Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Amoxil 250 mg Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Amoxil Syrup works
Amoxil 250 mg Syrup is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Pregnancy

Amoxil 250 mg Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Amoxil 250 mg Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving

Amoxil 250 mg Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Amoxil 250 mg Syrup can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Amoxil 250 mg Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amoxil 250 mg Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Amoxil 250 mg Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amoxil 250 mg Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
