How Amoxil Injection works
Amoxil 500 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Alcohol

Consuming alcohol with Amoxil 500 mg Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Amoxil 500 mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Amoxil 500 mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Amoxil 500 mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Amoxil 500 mg Injection can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Amoxil 500 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amoxil 500 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Amoxil 500 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amoxil 500 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
