Introduction of Angiplat Capsule TR Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR is a medicine used in management of angina (heart-related chest pain) caused due to narrowing of blood vessels of the heart. It is only useful in preventing an episode of angina and does not work well once the chest pain has already started. This medicine should be used along with lifestyle changes like healthy diet, regular exercise, and smoking cessation for best results. It must be taken strictly as per the dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor. It should not be stopped abruptly. It may cause dizziness and headache as side effects initially, which improve with time. Pregnancy SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Kidney SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. What if you miss a dose of Angiplat Capsule TR? If you miss a dose of Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
