Kindly do not self administer. How ATSA Injection works ATSA Injection is an anticancer medication. It works by interfering with the growth of genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells in leukaemia. This kills the cancer cells and helps in normal maturation and growth of young blood cells in the bone marrow. ATSA Injection related warnings Alcohol CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with ATSA Injection. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR ATSA Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. Lactation UNSAFE ATSA Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby. Driving UNSAFE ATSA Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. ATSA Injection can cause side effects such as tiredness and this may affect your ability to drive. Kidney CAUTION ATSA Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ATSA Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver CAUTION ATSA Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of ATSA Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of ATSA Injection is not recommended in patients with advanced liver cancer.
