Together, they ensure rapid and consistent sugar control by facilitating reuptake of sugar in muscle and fat cells, and suppressing the production of sugar in the liver. Humalog Mix Suspension for Injection related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Humalog Mix 25 Kwikpen 100IU/ml Taking Insulin Lispro+Insulin Lispro Protamine with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes. Pregnancy SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Humalog Mix 25 Kwikpen 100IU/ml is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
