How to use Tralin Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tralin 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Tralin Tablet works
Tralin 50 Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.

Pregnancy

Tralin 50 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Tralin 50 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Tralin 50 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Tralin 50 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tralin 50 Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease as you may be given a smaller dose initially and then increased slowly as required.
Liver
CAUTION
Tralin 50 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tralin 50 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Tralin 50 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
What if you miss a dose of Tralin Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Tralin 50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
