How to use Womox Tablet DT
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Womox 125 mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Womox Tablet DT works
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Alcohol

Consuming alcohol with Womox 125 mg Tablet DT does not cause any harmful side effects.
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Womox 125 mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Womox 125 mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Womox 125 mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
